Lucas e Jenny, um casal na casa dos trinta, mudam-se da grande cidade para um sossegado bairro suburbano. A sua nova casa — promissoramente aconchegante e luminosa — é uma verdadeira pechincha...por uma simples razão: ocasionalmente, através de um portal na vizinhança, ela deixa entrar uma enxurrada impetuosa de criaturas sobrenaturais violentas. Lucas and Jenny, a couple in their thirties, move from the big city to a quiet suburban neighborhood.
